Welcome to Riley Fuzzel Farm Wholesale Nursery

Our Plant Nursery Story

Riley Fuzzel Farm wholesale nursery began operations at its Spring Texas location in the Fall of 1996. We initally launched our business 6 newly restored greenhouses with the guidance of many kind plant nursery professionals.

With a handfull of terrific customers and many hours of hard work we began our journey with the intent to "plant our roots" in the green industry with good ol' fashioned hardwork, something our customer's really seem to appreciate.

We knew one thing: The nursery and landscaping business is tough and competitive.

In order for us to do well, our customer's had to thrive. We decided, at that moment, the best thing to do was to focus on making it easier for our customers to grow their businesses by providing them with a wider variety of the highest quality trees, plants and shrubs, then make their dollars stretch further by offering it all at the best value for the money.

It worked!

Many, many, thoroughly satisfied customers later under the direction of our very knowledgable General Manager, Vicente Plascencia, and with the help of our top-notch Sales Staff, Jon Avara and Kevin Avara, and many loyal employees, we now have nearly 7 of the best acres in Spring under production.

By supplementing our plant inventory from other local plant growers we were able to restore and fill the remaining 6 of the 12 orginal small greenhouses. Then we were blessed with the opportunity to expand bringing one giant IBG greenhouse back to life.

In keeping with our founding principles, we are continually developing a wholesale nursery which affords our customers a "one-stop-shop" location for all their landscape material needs. If you are looking for a commitment to the highest quality, the best variety and the greatest value for your wholesale plants, trees and shrubs for your nursery or landscape customers, look no further.

At Riley Fuzzel Farm: We are the "One-Stop-Shop" for all your landscaping material needs.

Riley Fuzzel Farm | Oakwood Tree Farm

Seeing an opportunity to provide even more quality, variety and value to our cusomters, in the fall of 2002, we began a growing operation at a second location in Leon County, near Oakwood, Texas. Thanks to the support of our loyal customer base, we now have approximately 40 acres under production at our tree farm, Riley Fuzzel Farm Oakwood.

We are proud to bring you many varieties of Oaks, Pines, Magnolias, Red Buds, Wax Myrtles, and several other specialty landscape trees. All of our landscape trees are grown in 15g, 30g, 45g, and 65g containers, offering a wider variety to our landscape and retail nursery customers.

Quality effort: Year Round Growth

Our tree production in Oakwood is a "pot-in-pot" method of growing trees. We have our "moat" pot in the ground and are able to transfer our trees as they grow from 15 gallon to 30 gallon, to 45 gallon, etc.

This keeps a tree in rotation in the original pots at all times. This method encourages the root ball of the tree to continue to grow nearly year-round. This method insulates the root-ball ultimately allowing us to offer better quality wholesale landscape trees to our customers.
